CHVRCH: Pride is …
Liam: About discovering something within yourself that you hold immense pride in—and letting it shine. This month, wear it boldly. Let it define you in the best way. When you show the world you’re proud of who you are, it sparks something in others too. Pride creates a beautiful domino effect—one that starts with you.
C: How do you identify, and what does Pride month mean to you personally?
L: I identify as gay, and to me, Pride Month is about leading by example. I’ve been incredibly lucky to grow up surrounded by love and support, and this month is my chance to reflect that back—to show up for others the way people have shown up for me.Whether it’s cheering at the Pride parade or shouting extra loud for the kids waving their trans flags, I know those moments of visible support matter. They stick. And if I can help someone feel a little more seen, a little more loved—then I’m doing Pride right.
C: What song has to be on your Pride playlist?
L: Perfect Strangers by Jonas Blue
C: What would you tell your younger self during Pride month?
L: You can do anything you set your mind to—and you will. But don’t confuse achievement with being more lovable. Proving your worth to the world won’t make anyone love you more, but proving it to yourself will light a fire in you that won’t go out.You have lovely parents and friends who, in their own ways, wish they had seen the real you sooner. But you’re never in pain—you’re observant, you’re evolving, and you’re quietly powerful. The world around you is shifting, and that strange feeling inside? It’s not wrong. It’s becoming. And please, remember: fake bitches will always be fake bitches. Let them float away. Pride is yours now. And it’s beautiful.
C: What do you hope riders feel or take away from your classes, not just during Pride month?
L: If your mind can dream it, your body can do it. The first step is simply believing that you can. Self-belief is the spark that turns vision into movement—and movement into magic.
